What You Need to Know About Your First Motorsport Racer

Your first motorcycle race might be an intimidating one when getting ready for it. Your biggest questions are if you will get other racers mad at you or you will get a crash. Being your first time in the race, you must think of the questions. Being a first time competitor, it is important to start from somewhere and get a vehicle of your choice. Make sure that you get prepared both yourself and the car. There are some tips that you can help you in your first time race.

Distinguish Your Sport

The car or motorcycle that you will be using must be inspected properly to pave the way for a safe race ahead. This will make sure that the battery and breaks are functioning properly and there is no leaking gas. If you are using your car, let it be empty and ready for the race. Pump your tires before they are inspected and know the safety rules that go along with the race you are competing.

Get Well Prepared

Pay the required entry fee and other necessities like emergency gas and food. Remember most of the venues do not have card machines, so it is advisable to carry cash to the event. Make sure that if you are using your car, you have enough gas to take you home. Get ready with your car repair manual as it will help in case the car need to be repaired. You can also carry spare tire and other tools that you may need, but you will have to remove them from the boot before the race starts.

Buy Light Protective Wear

Get Familiar With The Rules Before The Race

Read the safety rules even if you have raced before. For example, if you go to the race with a vehicle that is not inspected, you will not be allowed to finish the race. To prevent the embarrassment, go for car or motorcycle inspection and read the safety rules properly. If you will have a question, it is advisable to ask the organizers.

Plan Well Before the Event

If it is the first time, go through the map properly. Print the map and organize yourself well about the route to take. Never relay on a smart phone because technology might fail you.
